Answer: This holds one CD at a time. However, it can read songs that are saved in MP3 format, which means you could easily have between 100-200+ songs on just one CD.

Question: What does color-shifting mean?

Answer: The blue coloration stays on for almost a minute, and then it fades to a green, and then it's a purple, and then it's a red, etc. If you want it to stay blue or green or whichever color, you can flip a switch on the back to keep it that same color instead of letting it shift through various colors.
